also called silk bells this listing is for a full bell ( caps are taken off the frame and strung to dry bells weigh 10-18 oz this is 11.9 oz)

Spin a bit of luxury , these are easy to spin and a joy to dye they can also be used in felt . paper and art quilt embelishment.

size about 15" across the doubled bottom

and 12 inches center to edge

these have a brite white color . they are not compact like silk hankies so are much eaasier to spin . each cap is made up of many layers each layer is one cocoon caps are made of up to 24 cocoons each so they weigh at 10-14g each
